Mozaik Winery produces wines under its Mahrem brand at its estate winery in Urla, just outside of Izmir. Founded in 2006 by Ali and Melis Emin, Mozaik is a testament to the enormous potential for high-quality wine production in Turkey.
Mahrem, meaning 'intimate' in Turkish, reflects the deeply personal philosophy behind every bottle. The Emin family started from the ground up, carefully selecting international varietals suited to the geography and the deep viticultural history of the Urla region.
Mozaik grows its vines organically with minimal intervention, working in coordination with the rhythms of nature. Under the supervision of an Italian agronomist, the winery has developed specialized pruning techniques tailored to each varietal, reducing stress on the plants throughout the growing season. There is no installed irrigation system; the vines draw from the land as nature intended.
The result is a portfolio of wines that integrates the ancient history of Urla with its natural character, honoring the winemaking traditions rooted in the region for millennia.
